The Streator Township High School band and art department will conduct their annual toy drive, in conjunction with the Streator Salvation Army, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec VALDOSTA — Before this weekend’s push of Christmas shows, Valdosta State University Jazz Ensemble performs a concert of non-holiday music and all that jazz. The concerts, showcasing new compositions as well as time-honored classics, feature an ever-rotating ensemble with Mr. Queens-based jazz composer and trombonist Jeff Fairbanks and his band will play Korean and Chinese-inspired jazz songs today.
