Area orchestra students jazz it up (Peoria Journal Star)

The clear, high notes of string instruments filled the Woodruff High School auditorium Friday, where high school orchestra students gathered for a workshop led by jazz violinist Randy Sabien. About 85 students from District 150 high schools gathered in the dimly lit auditorium Friday, playing along with Sabien as he gave them an introduction to jazz and blues
