The Jazz Concert Series at Arizona Broadway Theatre resumes April 26, with the return of the Extreme Decibel Big Band featuring Dennis Rowland. BOUND BROOK — Due to the serious weather and flooding, the Joel Perry Jazz Concert at the Brook Theatre scheduled for 3 p.m. today has been canceled. The JCC Music Department’s spring Conductor’s Concert played to a Tuesday night audience in the Performing Arts Center, with the jazz band kicking off the evening playing “Traces” and “Undecided.” Guest artist Dennis Thurmond will present “400 Years of Keyboard Improvisation” on Tuesday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be located in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall in the UTC Fine Arts Center (corner of Palmetto and Vine), and it is open to the general public and free of charge.
