Listen to the music of smooth-jazz saxophonist Marion Meadows and you can’t help but be taken by a sound that is instantly accessible. The White River Jazz Band kicked off a five-week concert series last week at Broad Ripple Park. Jazzy tunes will fill the air on Fridays through the end of August as part of the Broad Ripple Park Jazz Concert Series, said Kathy Fitzgerald, park manager. The series will feature local jazz artists. MORRISTOWN â Dave Humm will bring his musician friends to heat up the Morristown and Morris Township Library with cool jazz concerts on two Fridays in July.
