GREEN BAY — University of Wisconsin-Green Bay instrumental and vocal jazz groups will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Amazing music, including an arrangement by a Texas A&M International University student, will fill the TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall during “An ‘Incredible’ Concert” by the TAMIU Wind Ensemble and Jazz Big Band set for tonight. Though you may not know him by name, you certainly know his work: Mitchell produced a string of hits by Al Green in the early to mid-1970s. For anyone who has daydreamed about sitting in a French bistro, sipping wine and nibbling hors d’oeuvres while listening to live jazz, Christmas The Second Annual Liberty Jazz Festival kicks off today and runs through Sunday at the Green Ring at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The festival runs from noon to 10 p.m. today and from noon to 8 p.m…. The Second Annual Liberty Jazz Festival, presented by The Star-Ledger and CD101.9, continues today at the Green Ring at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. GUILFORD — Soprano Jennifer Foster will extend the holiday spirit engendered tonight by the tree-lighting ceremony on the Green, as the featured performer for the annual Christmas Concert at Guilford Christian Science Church. The 2009-10 Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance Cultural Concert Series begins this fall with two free performances on the green at the Steam Pump Village shopping center on North Oracle Road, north of First Avenue. The Twilight Concert on the Green will return this September with a new promoter and a familiar cause. Redding residents who don’t know him will discover another side of the town’s health officer at this Sunday’s free concert on the green. Doug Hartline, who is also a musician, and his “Friends” will be performing, starting at 6 p.m.
