Rush used a time machine (also the name of its tour) and something called a “Gefilter” to stage a superb three-hour, two-part concert Sunday night in Nationwide Arena. On one side of the neighborhood are the large apartmentcomplexes along Skinker Boulevard that are home to immigrantfamilies. On the other are the mostly African-American residentswho have long called the West End neighborhood home. The National Youth Brass Band of New Zealand will visit Queenstown for a concert on February 19, as part of its tour of Otago and Southland.
