MADISON - The Madison Music Association will present its annual “Dessert and Jazz” concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, in the cafeteria of Madison High School at 170 Ridgedale Ave. North Central College will present the third in its Jazz Faculty Concert Series with a performance by vocalist Janice Borla. Joining her will be guitarist John McLean, pianist Frank Caruso, bassist Larry Kohut and drummer Jack Mouse. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. “Hot Jazz — 6 Cool Nites” at North Central College continues in Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Each of the six “Hot Jazz - 6 Cool Nites” concerts presented the week of July 17-23 at North Central College will offer a different combination of featured jazz artists and musical selections to make each evening’s performance distinctive. This year’s Jazz Festival in Monroeville will feature music from artists as local as Upper St. Clair to an artist who hails all the way from South America Six “Hot Jazz — 6 Cool Nites” concerts will be presented the week of July 17 at North Central College. |
