The U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty concert has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 14 in the Bellingham High School auditorium, 60 Blackstone St. Starbucks Presents HOT JAVA COOL JAZZ Five amazing high school jazz bands. One great cause. On March 19, 2010, five of the top high school jazz bands will take the stage at the Paramount Theatre in support of their school music programs. The Yankton High School Music Department will present “Jazz among Friends” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at the Yankton High School Theatre. On Saturday, March 6th, the Eddyville / Blakesburg High School Jazz Band placed first in class 2A at the South East Iowa Bandmasters Association District Jazz Contest in Iowa City. Pianist and composer Michael Wolff has played jazz in some of the nation’s most prestigious venues. Senior Keyan Hardman and the Grove City High School Jazz Band perform “Undecided” at a community concert Sunday at Grove City United Methodist Church to benefit the New Directions Career Center. The Lehighton Area Music Department will be presenting a District-Wide concert tonight at 7:30 p.m. in honor of “Music In Our Schools Month.” The concert will feature performing ensembles from the Middle School and High School. The Neosho High School Jazz Band received a I rating across the board from all judges at the Pittsburg State University Jazz Festival on March 5. PORTSMOUTH — The Cresitello-Dittmar Family of Stratham, along with the Cooperative Middle School Builders Club, Girls in Action and a group at Exeter High School, is planning a benefit concert, “Songs for Haiti,” for Saturday, March 13, at 6 p.m. The award-winning San Rafael High School Jazz Band and Jazz Choir will present their spring concert at 7:30 p.
