Jackson State University’s Dining Services will feature Murrah High School Band’s Jazz Ensemble during its free musical lunchtime concert series from 1-2 p.m. WAUSAU The fifth annual Wausau Jazz Festival Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium at Wausau East High School. This years concert will feature jazz bands from Wausau East, DC Everest, Merrill, Edgar and Antigo high schools. After a break for the holidays, the St. WBGO Jazz 88.3FM will broadcast the 2010 NEA Jazz Masters Awards Ceremony and Concert taking place on Tuesday, January 12 at 7:30PM in the Rose Theater at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center at Broadway at 60th Street. The performance will feature the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis in a program dedicated to the 2010 honorees’ works… The Hutchins Consort will present ‘A Night in Vienna’ on Jan. 16 The Brooklyn Center High School choir concert is 7 p.m. tonight in the school’s auditorium. It will feature the junior high men and women’s choir, vocal jazz and centaur choirs. Jordan Thorpe and other saxophone players belt one out. Yucaipa High School Concert Choir, Madrigals and Symphonic bands wowed an audience of over 800 on Dec. The Brooklyn Center High School choir concert is 7 p.m. tonight in the school’s auditorium.
